ETI Welcomes Project Manager Jesus Gutierrez

ETI is pleased to announce the hiring of Jesus Gutierrez as a project manager. The introduction of Mr. Gutierrez, a 15-year construction veteran, adds flexibility and significant growth capabilities to the firm.

“We’re very enthusiastic about bringing on Jesus,” says President Ivan Tello. “His contributions will help free up organizational resources for management to focus on the firm’s growth and the nurturing of client relationships.”

Gutierrez’s role will encompass day-to-day management of key projects including planning and coordinating project schedules & timelines, directing both in-house and subcontractor workforces and managing labor work schedules.

Gutierrez brings significant hands-on project management experience to the position. In his last role, as a Foreman/Superintendent at Toro & Staalsen, his responsibilities included analyzing manpower needs and scheduling labor accordingly on a two-week schedule.

“Over the course of my career, I managed large teams of tradesmen – as many as 25 or more at a time. Being responsible for the productivity of that many team members allowed me to develop good organizational habits that I’ve continued to use to this day” says Gutierrez.

Other responsibilities at Toro & Staalsen included material inventory management, reviewing work progress with upper management and creating daily job logs.

Gutierrez says he appreciates the fast-paced nature of the construction industry and embraces the challenges that arise on the job site. “There are always unexpected events that happen on a construction site”, he says. “The most important element of my job is being able to find the means and methods to complete the work on-time, on-budget and to ETI’s high standard of quality.”
